This is a pour-over, also known as a dripper or coffee funnel. It’s a ceramic brewing device designed for making filter coffee. This method reveals the most delicate and refined flavors in coffee — fruity, berry, floral, chocolate notes, and sometimes completely unexpected ones.

Place a filter into the dripper. Rinse the filter and the dripper with hot water, then discard the water. Add 15–20 grams of coffee into the filter. Use water at around 95°C (not boiling). Pour slowly in a circular motion, enjoying the aroma — that’s where the name pour-over comes from. In about 1–1.5 minutes, your coffee will be ready in the cup.

Yes. It is easy to learn and engaging. The result will not disappoint — pour-over coffee has a deeper and more complex flavor profile. Each coffee origin unfolds more clearly.

A pour-over is a technically complex piece, so we created it together. Anton worked on the form and structure, while Illia handled finishing, texturing, and glazing. The full production process takes 1–2 months, including drying, double firing, and finishing (texturing and sanding).

Yes, any filters designed for Hario V60-style drippers will fit.

Yes. This method is designed to highlight the pure taste of coffee itself — not milk-based drinks like lattes or cappuccinos. It opens the most subtle and premium notes: fruity, floral, chocolate, and more complex flavor layers.

Medium grind — coarser than for espresso machines, but finer than for French press.

We recommend coffee from our neighbors — COFFEE CRAFT. They inspired us to create these pour-overs. Mention KERRA — you may receive a small bonus.

The set includes a V60 pour-over dripper and a matching cup in the same color and design.

Yes. Our pour-overs follow the geometry of the classic Hario V60, so the process is intuitive. It is simple, fast, and most importantly — the coffee tastes richer and more expressive.

You can wash our ceramics like regular tableware. The pour-over itself is dishwasher-safe. We recommend washing the cup by hand, as the outer glaze may contain metallic elements that can slightly change color over time in a dishwasher.

Handmade coffee pourover: what is it?

As the market boomed with different varieties and types of coffee, filter coffee came to Ukraine, and a coffee funnel appeared, popularly called a veshka. For a long time, only the hario V60 acted as a coffee pourover in Ukraine (I will tell you more about it below), but times are changing and now there are other, more interesting and beautiful alternatives, such as handmade ceramics from KERRA. This wave of popularity for the filter does not surprise me, because it reveals the floral, sweet and sour notes of coffee much better. And if people take more exclusive coffee, then they should know in which dishes it can be revealed to the maximum. A coffee set with a pourover is, in my opinion, the ideal and most environmentally friendly way to make coffee at home, which does not even require an outlet. The dripper itself is a complex product, canonically made of ceramics, it is in it that the filter bag with coffee is placed. This complex product captured our attention with its complexity. Because create pourover – its not a creat handmade cup, its complicated. All our pourovers are made by hand from start to finish, we even do the glazing with a brush, so each of our ceramic pourovers is unique and one of a kind like Arlekin purover.

    Coffee ceremony and coffee funnel

A pourover is not just a way of drinking a drink, it is a real ceremony of making coffee itself. Brewing coffee through a funnel is the most aesthetically reminiscent of a tea ceremony, and this is true at the level of how your attention works in this process. We are not saying that you will have to wait 10 minutes for your cup of coffee, no, but we are saying that for a couple of minutes you will be a key participant in the brewing process. We have told you more about how to properly use a coffee brewing set in our blog here. Since the ceremony is an aesthetic process, the funnel should be beautiful, one that can be viewed constantly while the coffee is pouring, studying the details of the texture and expensive, spectacular German glaze. That’s what we created! And for a complete aesthetic thrill, so that everything is as harmonious as possible, we equipped our pourovers with a handmade cup in the same design as the funnel.

How did we come to ceramic pourovers?

It’s not just that I’m surrounded by coffee lovers, it’s much deeper, my entrepreneurial life began with coffee. That’s why I’ve always drunk it and understood it, just like with Chinese tea, coffee was and is my friend. But we must pay tribute to our neighbors in the workshop, who are on the same floor with us, this is a family-run store of elite coffee “COFFEE KRAFT”. They constantly roasted the sweetest varieties that I’ve ever tasted in my life. By the way, I recommend contacting them for delicious coffee. So even because of this smell of roasted coffee, which was constantly on our floor, we can say that the creation of a ceramic pourover from KERRA was only a matter of time. And we measured everything and developed our prototype, of course, based on the Hario v60 funnel, because the entire market makes filter bags for coffee exclusively for their sizes. But we refined the thickness of the walls, made the junction stronger and completed the hanger with a cup in the same design. And, speaking of designs, it was because of them that we set out to create a Ukrainian dripper, so that they would be like an art object.

Why is the coffee pourover called hario?

Because they were the first to make it mass-produced and captured the market so much that the pourover was automatically called hario. This is actually a popular story with various products. This whole story even led to the fact that all filter bags for filter coffee began to be made uniformly for the sizes of Hario funnels. And our coffee brewing sets are also of a unified size, so that it is easy to choose the size of the coffee filter bag (don’t worry: there are not many sizes, a couple of pieces)

Coffee pourover as an ideal gift for a coffee lover

A coffee making set that can be used even without an outlet – this will be useful to modern coffee lovers living in our modern Ukrainian realities in any case. But seriously, let’s not forget about the appearance of our pourovers and add that a separate self-sufficient and no less pleasing to the eye product is a handmade mug that goes into our coffee set as a gift. So, let’s summarize what an ideal gift for a coffee lover is – this is a more durable, incredibly beautiful, complete with a cup coffee pourover, through which it is revealed in much more detail and depth.
